It’s almost July, so it’s almost mid-summer, and a bunch of free concerts are already underway in Washington. One summer concert series where you may spot some of the District’s local musicians is the Golden Triangle Summer Concert in Farragut Square Park.
The free shows start on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., a perfect way to kick off to your happy hour…or weekend. The series started early, on May 17th, and has one more performance left this month. On June 21st be sure to catch a free performance by Down Wilson, the alternative band from Arlington.
While attending this concert you have an opportunity to win a free clothing item as well. If you are one of the first 15 people to tweet #GoldenTriangleConcerts beginning at 5:30 p.m. you may win a free t-shirt. (Winners are announced at intermission – and you must be present to win!)
So plan early for next weekend, and kick off next Thursday off right with the last performance of this free concert series!
