Bruce Springsteen – September 14
The Boss is back!! Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen, a man who needs no introduction, really, will be back with his E Street Band as the second leg of the Wrecking Ball tour hits the district. For those wondering what the truly amazing experience of a Bruce Springsteen show is like, check out our review from his show back in April right here! The show is at Nats Park, and the gates open at 5:30pm. Tickets range from $68-$98.
Punk rock/reggae group Ballyhoo! will be playing a show in their hometown of Baltimore this weekend at the Harbor Waterfront as a part of the Charm City Music Fest. Other acts include Weezer and Flogging Molley, and a host of other great bands spread out over two stages! It should be an incredible show for fans of all music types. Tickets are $58.50, and are still available at the gate.
DC101 Kerfluffle ft. The Offspring, Sublime with Rome, and Garbage – September 15 – Jiffy Lube
DC101 is holding their annual Kerfluffle this weekend, with headliners The Offspring, Sublime with Rome, and Garbage. Other acts will include Anberlin, Foxy Shazam, and DC Music Live favorites Dead Sara. The all day festival is expected to draw large crowds, and should be a great day of music at Jiffy Lube Live. Gates open at 3:00pm. Tickets range from $33-$69, are still available, and can be purchased here.
The dog days of summer are officially, but that doesn’t mean the concert season is done yet! Florence + the Machine, best known for their smash hit single “Dog Days Are Over,” are in town. They’ll have The Weeknd and The Maccabees in tow for what should be a killer show at the Merriweather Post Pavillion! Doors are at 5:30pm. Tickets are $40-$55.
